Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Solarnod LLC (“Solarnod,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Solarnod Acc Agent application (the “Application”).

1. Scope

The Application is intended primarily for internal business use by Solarnod LLC and authorized users. It may connect to QuickBooks Online through Intuit-authorized interfaces.

2. Information processed

Depending on the authorized workflow, the Application may process accounting and business information available through the connected QuickBooks Online company, including company information, chart-of-accounts data, transactions, customers, vendors, invoices, bills, payments, deposits, and financial reports. The Application also processes technical authentication information necessary to maintain an authorized connection.

3. How information is used

Information is used only for legitimate internal business purposes such as accounting review, audit support, reconciliation analysis, reporting, identification of missing or unusual entries, and related finance operations.

4. QuickBooks access

The current production configuration is designed for read-only accounting access. Accounting write operations are blocked unless Solarnod deliberately changes the application configuration and separately authorizes that functionality.

5. Authentication credentials

Production OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored using the macOS Keychain on the authorized host. The Application is designed not to print or expose client secrets, access tokens, or refresh tokens in normal logs or reports.

6. Local files and reports

The Application may create local audit reports, normalized transaction files, and other analytical outputs on systems controlled by Solarnod. These files may contain business and accounting information and are handled as confidential company data.

7. Sharing and sale of data

Solarnod does not sell information processed by the Application and does not use QuickBooks Online data for advertising. Information may be disclosed only to authorized service providers, professional advisers, or authorities where reasonably necessary for operations, compliance, or legal obligations.

8. Security

Solarnod applies technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the Application's internal-use purpose, including restricted credentials, local access controls, read-only production safeguards, and separation of development and production configurations.

9. Retention and deletion

Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for accounting, operational, security, legal, or compliance purposes. Local reports and stored application data may be deleted when no longer required. QuickBooks Online access may be revoked by disconnecting the Application from the applicable Intuit account.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when application functionality, data practices, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above reflects the current version.
